Lance Aloft

Lance Aloft is a single-screen, survival challenge game of aerial jousting. The controls are two buttons - the left half of your screen and the right half.

Touch either side to turn that direction, hold down to run or glide that direction, release the hold to flap upwards. To climb and move together, hold the screen you want to fly towards and quickly tap the other side. To drop, either let go of both sides (which gives a final flap) or hold down both sides (which delays that last flap until you let go).

To defeat a regular foe, bump into them while higher.  To defeat a phoenix, bump from below.  For a flaming lancer, bump from behind and above.  You get the idea.
