Virtual Tabletop File

In the files, you'll now see one named "VTT-Saints-playingcards-io.pcio".  This is the package for creating a Virtual Tabletop on playingcards.io.Such a tabletop is both PC and mobile-compatible; you can happily use it on a tablet just as easily as a desktop; it's viewable on phone, but a bit too small.

This tabletop has no chat; it should be combined with a voice, text, or video chat platform.

To use it, one (and only one) person needs an account at that site (accounts are free), most likely the Guide

You'll then upload the file to the site by clicking here:

Once it's uploaded, you'll  have a "room" that looks like this; you can share the link or code to invite others to join it:

You'll likely be assigned a player seat upon joining; you can click on the player name to rewrite it, or on the three-dot side menu to change it's circle colour or "stand up" from that position, changing seats to a new one or none (as the Guide, say).

To create characters, you "dump out" the various trait piles - houses, temperaments, and spheres of action, dragging them into the appropriate slots on your character card and then tidying them back up by clicking that button (typically doing this one trait type at a time).  Think of these as boxes of fridge magnets being dumped out and organized.  Tidying up won't clean away traits that have been dropped into their character card slots, just loose ones on the "mat".  Finally, you'll change your nameplate to your character name.  Not all character options are here, just the bare bones - others can be noted separately.

The poker chips here can be dropped into the spaces beneath the character cards, to track injuries, fatigue, social opprobrium - whatever sort of trouble needs tracking according to the style of the current action.  The Guide can state what they represent and how they're gained and healed when needed, and ignore them if not required.

The Soothsayer's Deck is included, along with buttons to recall and shuffle all the cards, and to deal an additional card.  Clicking the deck and dragging cards is also an option.

If you'd like to edit this layout, you can click the little briefcase to get this view, and use it to move the various components around or dig into how they function.

Finally, in the editing view, in the pull-up menu, you'll see "room options".  Clicking to this tab and scrolling down will get you the "Export To File" option, which will allow you to download the whole room in it's current state, if desired.
